Light a candle for those we mourn.
Into a new life they will be born.
Do not look for them at the gravesite.
They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light
They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.
Their light and essence will always remain.
Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.
They are free to travel through time and space.
When we think of them, they are near.
When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.
When we listen to a divine symphony,
We close our eyes, their faces we see.
Light a candle for they have not really gone.
With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.

Memories of My Mother
The pain in my heart, is here to stay, it never seem's to go away,
But days will come when I look back,
When memories show we are not apart,
The days seem long, the nights seem longer,
Memories of you never alter,
Your in my heart, you're there to stay,
I love you more each waking day,
Life's not got much purpose, it seem's that way,
But things may get better, day by day,
You gave me life, you loved me too, but what's the use without you too,
Time they say heals a broken heart, can that be true while we're apart.

What a Day

What a day, as I stand here reflecting so many thought's running thro my head, feelings in my heart that it's so hard to sort them out.
But I do know after this brief time, connecting with my family and loved ones that it is time to return back home, my life will go on and I will be fine.
With moist eyes I hold out my hand for that briefest one last time, briefest of connections and reflect on all the gifts, the Divine Spirit has given me.
To know and believe beyond a shadow of doubt, that those we love are still with us just on the other side, giving us tremendous hope and courage to carry on, which I will pass on to all I know and everyone I meet.
Right now as I cling to that last gem of a bond, a single ray of sunshine illuminates the ground around.
A thought suddenly comes in my mind that my father in spirit is thinking just the same.
On both sides of that heavenly ray that shone so bright this day, love and life are eternal, in the spirits way.

Thank you Spirit .

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
                             when I was suffering from
                         anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
      "You promised me Lord,
         that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
                                 there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

                                 The Lord replied,
                          "The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
          is when I carried you."

When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you for a little while,
Please do not shed wild tears,
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.
But start out bravely with a gallant smile,
And, for my sake, and in my name,
Live on and do all things the same.

Feed not your loneliness on empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near.

And never, never be afraid to die,
For I am waiting for you in the sky.

"An Angel with Broken Wing's"

Sometimes the Divine Spirit sends us on the earth plain an Angel that has physical imperfections,

"An Angel with Broken Wings"

It is still an Angel sent not to learn lessons like the rest of us, but to teach us lessons. To let us learn humility, joy, courage and most of all unconditional love. We all have our hurdles in life, our crosses to bear but when we compare them to this Angels adversities ours pale in comparison. We might meet our hurdles once a year; maybe lesser ones once a month you could even consider your weekly gripes with things. These we moan and groan and complain about and try to pass them off to others Not this Angel every minute of every day did he carry his problem with him from the day he was sent to us. Did he complain about it well yeah he had  his moments but always he met them head on with the help of the family he was sent to, year on year out, day in day out and every minute of the day with great courage, a beaming irresistible smile, laughter, courage and most of all with love in his heart for all who's lives he touched.
For anyone who he met he never forgot your name, a place where you met the fantastic ability to make you feel that you meant something in his life when really it was you he was teaching a lesson, you he was bringing joy to, you he was making feel just that bit loved and feel that bit better.
We will all miss the physical presence of this Angel now he has returned home to the spirit realm from were he was sent but I know that he will still be with us as his soul and his spirit is alive in the realms of spirits free from the physical imperfections he had on earth and is around us at all times when we need. And I'm sure he will still play the odd practical joke on us with the joy, courage, laughter, love, the beaming smile and of course the wicked sense of humour that he had when he was with us.
So go Angel Run when you could not walk or go
"Flying without Wing's"

My Family

To my dearest family some things I like to say
But first of all to let you know that I arrived here safe.
I'm writing this from heaven where I dwell with God above, Where there's no more tears or sadness, there is just eternal Love. Please do not be unhappy, just
because I''m out of sight, Remember that I''m with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you, when my life on Earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and said "I welcome you", its good to have you back again, you were missed while you gone, as for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly as part of my big plan, There is so much that we have to do, to help poor mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things he wished for me to do,and foremost on that list of mine, Is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you every day, week and year, and when you're sad I''m standing there, to wipe away the tears.

P.S. God sends his Love.

Mother

Oh Mother of mine you gave me life that wasn't always divine, You did your best with your short time. You were always there with a shoulder and a cup of tea to help me cope with all my fears.
You went to sleep and never awoke, it broke my heart to see you go, but then I found the church that helped me so. I prayed to see you once again then you appeared everywhere in my dreams and my thoughts, your always there with your support.
You gave me proof you never died but live a  life by my side, you have no more worry or pain, that you suffered on this earth plane, so Goodnight &
God bless, till we meet again.

Shortened Story

This is a story about a young boy (Alan) and his dog(Lucky). It all started some 14 years ago when Alan was given Lucky as a Christmas present, a squirming, wriggling bundle of joy. They grew up together thro the seasons and the years, both loving each other and an unbearable ache to be separated. Schooldays being the worst Alan with his head in the clouds day dreaming of getting home and playing ball or frisbee with Lucky ,While Lucky would be at home with Mum, eagerly awaiting Alans return home and to meet him with a leap & a bound, knocking him over, followed by the deluge of licks .
The nights were the best curled up by the fire or on the end of Alans bed , one not being out of arms reach of the other. Thro the years each developed a canny knack of knowing what the other wanted before any word or bark was uttered. But as the years rolled by so did Lucky begin to age, slower and with the aches of age. Till one day he succumbed to his ailments and Mam & Dad said best take him to the Vets. Seriously ill Alan and his family were given grave news, so as they stood around with Alan petting his much loved friend Lucky slipped away.
Strangely over the next few days Alans family noticed that Alan seemed to accept Lucky passing and asked him why so easily, Alan replied " Everybody Human & Animal is born into this world from Spirit to learn to live a good life-like being good to everybody and caring for other's, well animals especially Lucky already know how to do that so they dont have to stay as long.

For all the animals of this world Thank you.

The Gift of Life

Of all the gifts that we can give, however great or small.
To be able to give the gift of life is the greatest gift of all.
It's a gift that last's a lifetime, one we can never repay.
It's a gift that's taken for granted with every passing day.
It is used to see the beauty upon the great earth plane.
Used to smell the pretty flowers and feel the falling rain.
To be able to touch our loved ones, the sensation we feel with pain.
Its a gift that's never ending used time and time again.
It comes in many forms and colours no two are ever the same.
Even when the material life has ended the spirit will still remain.

The Rainbow

Red for the Glowing Sunset
At the end of a perfect day,
Yellow for the Golden Sunshine
To cheer us on our way,
Green for the fragrant Meadows
That will soon ripen into Hay,
White for the Snow of Winter
And laughing children in Play,
Orange for the cheerful Marigolds
That bloom so brightly in May,
Blue for the Sky and crystal Sea
That sparkles in the Bay,
Purple for the Shades of Evening
When church bells call us to Pray,
When I look up to the Rainbow
Thats what the colours say.
